I have a 94 year-old grandmother who recently moved into an assisted living facility. I have made it a goal to keep her in wreaths and other door decorations to give her a little feeling of home. She was an avid crafter her whole life. At Christmas time I made a wreath from some "silk" flowers in a pink and white gold color scheme. I like to buy pre-made clusters of flowers and take them apart to use the pieces individually. I think I get the most variety for my money and I get berries, small flowers, greens, and nuts that I can't get otherwise. I made the wreath and loved it but because she was going to her Christmas gathering I made her a corsage from the left overs. It had such a vintage 1940's feel I loved it. I had not seen anything like it until I stumbled on your blog and Etsy shop. It would have fit right in with what you make. I love your work and just wanted to share that story. I didn't really think anybody was making corsages anymore so I 'm thrilled that you are….and you are prolific in your products. Good Lord woman, do you just sit and craft alllllll day every day?
