Shira, real weddings editor over at
Martha Stewart Weddings , was kind enough to invite me to do a little
DIY guest post on the MS Weddings blog,
The Bride's Guide. It was part of their "
Week of White" feature, so I created this garland with that color palette in mind.
The garland is made with layered and fused sheets of simple waxed paper. Sandwiched between the layers are punched shapes, feathers, and flowers in shades of white and off-white.

Thank you for this amazing opportunity, Shira. It's a thrill to contribute to The Bride's Guide!
